Working Principle
The measurement system is based on the bore of gun which contains two elliptical gears. The gear will rotate when the oil flows through bore of gun. The flow of oil is the same at each rotation.When gears rotate, the generated pulse signal will be recorded to Processes by a microprocessor. The magnetic coupling function between gear with magnet and magnetic switch out of the bore of gun not only guarantees the bore of gun leak-proof quality,but also ensure the pulse which produced by gear rotation will transmit to the Microprocessor on circuit board.The microprocessor has been converted the pulse into the volume of fuel by adjusting parameters properly and displayed on the screen.
The measurement grease gun is adjusted with 10W-40 oil before leaving the factory. Each one has primary parameter. It can be adjusted on spot and would maintain the best function that can be used to measure the volume of oil if needs. Please adjust on spot if operators want to measure precisely as the oil viscosity of factory may be different.
Adjust parameters methods
1,Inject oil into a standard vessel or oil pot till 4. 00 liters (actual value),the meter will show 4.07 (show value). Attention: It can't allow air into the oil meter during the process of injecting oil.
2,Press the left key(TOTAL) first and then press the right key (RESET), not exceed 3S. If the meter show the primary parameters is 3.4567, write it down on notebook.
3,Accurate parameter: Actual value (4.00 liters) ÷ Show value of (4.07) Primary parameter (3.4567) = standard parameter (3.3972) .
4,Loosen 3 screws that connect the cover and measurement of body, take away the watch cover, press the SET key on the reverse of the watch cover 3 seconds,the screen will show primary parameter and the letter "L" flash, it enter adjusting parameter mode.
5,Presses the left key (TOTAL) when it moves 1 digit after the decimal point, the number will flash then press the right key (RESET) to increase the number up to "3".
6,Presses the left key (TOTAL) when it moves 2 digit after the decimal point, the number will flash then press the right key (RESET) to increase the number up to "9". 7,Presses the left key (TOTAL) when it moves 3 digit after the decimal point, the number will flash then press the right key (RESET) to increase the number up to "7".
8,Presses the left key (TOTAL) when it moves 4 digit after the decimal point, the number will flash then press the right key (RESET) to increase the number up to "2".
9,Press left key (TOTAL), the letter "L" will flash, please press right key (RESET) to change the Unit into PT, QT or GAL if needs. Usually it can be omit this step as the primary unit has been set to " L "
10,The present parameter has adjusted as the calibration parameter 3.3972,then press the key on the reverse of the meter cover 3 second till the parameter on the screen flashes, it shows no signals then presses the right key (RESET) to turn on the meter. The parameter adjustment finished .
Maintenance
This product needs regular maintenance:
- Please replace new battery if battery signal twinkle. The battery type is CR1/2AA.6127 3V/950aAH.
replacement method battery is :
takes away the meter cover and protection cover ,replace the battery directly. Please pay attention to the battery's polarity .
- Clear interior of the bore of gun
steps are as following :
Put the grease gun on a clean soft cloth,twist off 6 screws on the seal-oil bottom cover ,and take away the bottom cover and the seal ring,takes out the gear, clear the place that need clean pay attention to not destroy the gear and the survey cavity chest where the left gear loads with the magnet, and it forward adown with the magnet It shows in right picture.
The left gear must be installed vertically with the right gear.Make sure the gear turns freely before cover .
- Please close the gas source when current capacity drops obviously,buckle the oil gun main trigger and release press completely,then unload the oil hose from the aluminum alloy handle, take out the strainer, install it after careful clean.
- The joint between the inlet oil hose and the oil gun is not suitable to twist too tightly to avoid to damage the strain,Generally screw tightly by hand, then use the spanner to twist the half-turn.
- when use or maintenance , please get light.Please lay aside in a steady place to prevent injuring by falling down after use.
- If it does not work, please release the pressure by buckling the oil gun trigger.
- It should buckle the main trigger first if inject oil.
- measurement of grease gun at least every six months to a self-calibration ,in the peculiar circumstance calibrates the number of times to increase .
